Junior Club Planning Meeting

BY INVITATION
Attendance at this is by invitation of the Executive Committee. The purpose of the meeting is to develop the Junior Club 2019 calendar of events. This is so that each family when they sign up at the start of the year can see what is in front of them, and lock away dates that are important.
This will be informal and a little bit social (bring partners & kids, some nibbles, a beverage or 2 and we can organise pizzas for those that want). Matt Cunningham has kindly volunteered to facilitate, so we ensure we get done what we need to without getting distracted!
WHERE & WHEN
Kiama Downs Surf Club
Friday 11 January 5-8pm.
WHAT
The intent is by the end of the session we will have mapped dates for:
– Registration activities
– Coaching appointments, training opportunities & meetings
– Team manager meeting
– Working bees
– Fixtures
– Gala days
– Representative opportunities
– Social functions (pre, mid and post season?)
– Fundraisers
– Committee meetings & AGM
– Presentation day – Kiama and SCAFL
+ all the other things I haven’t thought of.
If you cannot attend, but know dates from previous years (including when school fundraisers are held so we don’t clash etc) then please send these through as input.
Please put your thinking caps on and come armed with your diaries!
