Volunteers

At Kiama Power, we’re fortunate to have a great bunch of people who jump in every week to make it all happen on and off the field. The day-to-day running and success of our club relies heavily on the dedication of these people who involve themselves in things like the committee, coaching, team management, canteen, ground management and social event organisation.

There’s always opportunities to be involved, even in the smallest ways. It might be helping set-up or pack up the ground, being a runner or water carrier for a team, goal umpiring, first aid, doing votes for best players, helping out at training with drills, doing a short stint on the BBQ and so on.

One area where we really need help with is First Aid. We’re required to have a nominated First Aider for each game in each age group. Ideally, we’d like to have two or three people on a list for each team so the role can be alternated for the team from week to week. Anyone who has a First Aid certificate, here’s your chance to use it for a great cause. Also anyone who has medical or allied health care skills (eg doctor, paramedic, nurse, physio etc) and watches their son or daughter play, please nominate yourselves. Its rarely ever needed, but if it is, its great to know that our players are in good hands.

We welcome anyone who would like to help out at the club in any of these or other areas.
